Gain insights into the Together Hawkeyes campaign and the First Gen Hawks Program, which supports first-generation college students. You´ll learn about other university happenings as you hear from Barbara Wilson, University of Iowa president, and Lynette Marshall, UI Center for Advancement president and CEO.
You´ll also have a chance to go back to class for engaging sessions with Mark Greiner, professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences, and Eric Hunter, chair and department executive officer for communications sciences and disorders.

We know that many companies use AI to sift through hundreds of resumes but how can a jobseeker use AI tools to improve their materials and stand out from the crowd? Our panelists will provide insight into how AI is being used and highlight how the two most common programs (Chat GPT and Co-Pilot) are being used in career searches. In addition, you’ll learn how recruiters are using these powerful programs and how you can stand out from others.
Join us for the Tippie Graduate & Professional Programs Hot Wing Challenge. During this event we'll be interviewing Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Professional Programs Jennifer Blackhurst and Associate Professor of Practice Nick Westergaard while they sample hot wings of varying heat levels. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the event as well as sample the same hot sauces. Students who RSVP and agree to the waiver statement below will receive a complimentary selection of hot sauce to enjoy alongside this event. The hot sauce will be shipped to you mid-February so you'll receive it before the event.
